I bought this yarn (crochet thread, actually) on sale at joann fabrics for a dollar! It's really soft & I've been working on a summer-appropriate crocheting project . . .
These lace medallions look completely different now that i blocked them.
I'm not using a pattern or anything, so I hope it turns out okay!

You are getting some great yardage out of that thread for just a dollar, go you! And you are working without a pattern? I certainly couldn't tell, it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI would say all that thread was a steal for a dollar! What are you planning on making with all those doilies/granny squares/lace motifs?
ReplyDeleteA sort of tank top !
DeleteThese are really pretty, perfect lightweight summer project.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteIt's very intricate and beautiful! Crocheting with such fine thread must take a lot of patience.
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWoah, that's awesome! What are you going to do with them when you're done?
ReplyDeleteA cropped tank - type thing !
Deleteooh, the medallions look gorgeous already!
ReplyDeleteGreat project, it will be stunning when it's finished, blocking is a wonder isn't it, makes everything come together.
ReplyDeleteLooking gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great deal! It's looking beautiful so far!
ReplyDeleteoooh I can't wait to see the crop tank! :D
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! I wish I had patience for such intricate things.
ReplyDeleteWhat patience you have to hook with such skinny thread! I don't think my sock yarn even compares.
